Fiscal Memory Units MERCURY FMU-01 and MERCURY FMU-01RS
 |
Fiscal
memory unit (FMU) is designed for storage of fiscal
memory records with exclusion of possibility to
change the previously recorded data. FMU is recommended
for use in electronic cash registers (ECR), fiscal
recorders and POS terminals.
FMU is made as a compact integrated block with
plug for power supply and control signals. Modern
components applied and original anti-interference
internal algorithm assure high reliability and
durability.
FMU supports data exchange through the channels
I2C or RS-232 (depending on type),
which essentially decreases the number of necessary
lines for signals.
Rate of data reading from FMU is comparable with
the data rate of modern memory with sequential
access (up to 12-15 Kb/sec).
FMU has a large capacity of nonvolatile memory,
which guarantees recording of necessary number
of fiscal records of great lengths (in case of
different tax rates input).
Contrary to "non-smart" memory (PROM,
EEPROM, FLASH), FMU does not give any possibility
to change already recorded data, and informs the
user about an unsuccessful attempt of recording
by means of available status word. |
